
Speaking at the unveiling of the institution’s Senate Building, Daisi lamented the rot in the sector, saying all hands must be on deck to restore the sector’s lost glory.
The Vice-Chancellor, Adeniyi Olatunbosun (SAN), restated the institution’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research, adding that the building symbolises the school’s interest in academic excellence, innovation, and community service.
“We remain steadfast in our pursuit of excellence, driven by our passion for knowledge and our commitment to shaping the minds of tomorrow’s leaders,” the VC stated.
He added that the institution serves as a hub for intellectual discourse, beacon for scholarship, and testament to its unwavering pursuit of knowledge.
“It also depicts the flagship of governance and administration, the symbol of the organogram, and the structure of the university,” Olatunbosun added.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Adeniyi Osuntogun, said the project was a prayer answered, and appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to support the sector through the provision of infrastructural facilities to improve teaching and learning.
