It has been discovered that when people fail to do what they are supposed to do, they look for short cuts to achieving results. Exam malpractice thrives when government, institutions and individuals wishes to prove that they invested in education, when they didn’t do so. Failure to provide teaching aids and condusive teaching environments has it’s obvious consequences. What is playing out now is that education is suffering because government has failed to provide basic teaching equipments and infrastructures. Nigerians must have a stake to the next set of political leaders and they must be leaders who have interest in changing the face of education in the country.
