The Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre has called for the integration of nutrition education into the school curriculum.

It stated that the introduction of nutrition education from childhood through adolescent levels is a sustainable strategy to promote well-informed citizens on the consumption of fortified foods.

It made this call on Thursday, during a media roundtable and campaign advocacy, titled, ‘Fortifying Nigeria’s future: A media roundtable on promoting fortification compliance and workforce nutrition in Nigeria.’

The advocacy campaign was sponsored by the Civil Society  Legislative Advocacy Center in collaboration with the National Economic Summit Group and E-Health Africa.
