The All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) has described the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education as well-deserved.
ANCOPSS National President, Alhaji Muhammad Ibn Musa, stated this during a courtesy visit by members from Yobe State to Dr. Idris in Abuja.
A statement from the Commission on Sunday noted that Musa expressed optimism that the Executive Secretary’s wealth of experience would revitalize efforts to address Almajiri and out-of-school children’s education in Nigeria.
He was confident that Idris would replicate the successes he achieved in Yobe State during his tenure as Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education.
He thanked President Bola Tinubu for appointing one of their own.
Similarly, the Association of Qur’anic Memorizers and Traditional Islamic Schools of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Idris, with National Chairman Gwani Sulaiman Mai Zube Kabala pledging cooperation towards achieving the Commission’s mandate.
